Show me, don't shame me.
We built Cibo because every calorie tracker we tried felt like it was designed for a 14-year-old at a fitness camp.
We're a small team based in Warsaw. Before Cibo, we shipped Tunari VPN — a privacy app for people who don't want to think about VPNs. Same studio, same operating principle: make the boring infrastructure quietly intelligent so the user can get on with their life.
We started Cibo for ourselves. The pattern repeated across the team: you try MyFitnessPal, it asks you to scan a barcode for a clementine. You try Lose It, it shows a streak that makes Tuesday at 11 PM feel like failure. You try the new AI ones — they're fast, but the UI is built for showing off the AI, not for you eating dinner.
So we built the calorie tracker we wanted to use. Quiet. Adult. AI where it actually saves time (one-tap photo logging), classic where it shouldn't (no streaks, no badges, no shame loops). Apple Watch first-class because the wrist is the right place for a glance at the ring. Privacy by design — your meals don't fund an ad network.
Cibo is live on the App Store for iPhone and Apple Watch, with the Android version on the way. If that's the kind of calorie tracker you've been waiting for, we'd love to have you along.
